ok last week i got my car tuned and they told me i had a faulty knock sensor cuz my timing was retarded. There is no knock in the engine i bought a new sensor and installed it and what a pain in the butt they had to put it in the hardest possibe place to get to lol. I reset the ecu and took it for a ride it ran good for a moment then back to running like crap.where can i start lloking for this phantom theres a little clicking from my pullies i wonder if its picking that up or maybe tranny noise.it really stinks it has no power under boost I also read where old wires can cause phantom knock but theres no cel on
