    My 1.6 overheated!

Just put 2500 into paint and rims on my 1999 LX. Turned out awesome. 20 miles from the shop, I noticed it was running warmer than usual. I was on the interstate, had 5 miles until the next exit. I made it, turning the car on and off. It was driving suprisingly normal for it being at and above the "H". Let the car cool down a bit, started it up, it runs fine, no different than normal. Radiator had a big leak. Should I be safe just putting a radiator in it? Or should I be worried about complications from overheating?

Change the radiator and the thermostat. Thermostats are usually the cause of radiator failure. Also many places won't warranty unless you replace the thermostat. Just make sure you get all the air out of the system after. Hope this helps.
