Picked up a MP5 for a steal back in May. Been driving it as a daily without reverse. Gotten pretty good at it I must say Finally gotten around to taking it to a shop and unfortunately it needs a rebuild. (Which I do not want to do) Really dont want to replace it with another tranny. Rather do a 5spd swap and turbo upgrade (maybe) while the motor is out. Been searching the net/forums for as much info as I can but all I am seeing is that it will take too long or just by a 5spd. I know this has been covered many times so I will get right to it. For all those that have completed this, do you have or can direct me to a parts list? I was thinking maybe to source a crashed or blown up 2.0 5spd protege (non mp5) and source out everything or so I have to source everything from a 5spd MP5?
