i swapped my front end for a mp3 front end and even the dealer said they'd never do it again - this was on an 03. with a 99, you've got one helluva job ahead of you. good luck

There seems to be an epidemic in MI, everyone seems to think that painting your car isn't cool anymore, and people drive around with more primer than paint. What is the world coming to?

we dont have to improvise(some manufacturers actually recognize OUR cars) so why do it...There are enough better looking front bumpers available anyways protozoom get the right one.

but its so much more expensive to hook up th front end of a 3rd gen. if i have to ill just get the sport 20 and pimp it. and since negatize brought mazdastuff.com to my attn. i found mp3 rear and side skirts fairly priced. so who knows, if its too much work than the price is worth, #@ck it, ill stick with the 3rd gen front. im pulling myself in every fricken direction! ahhh!

The early 3rd gen's look better in my opinion anyways so i would keep it. I enjoy the two piece headlights.

I plan on going with the MS kit at corksport.. thats a good looking front end. why don't you settle with something simple. In the end no one would really know the pain staking work you did to convert it unless you told them anyways.
