Erebuni Front Bumper Shogun style

I jsut got a 99-00 Shogun Style front bumper, and I am having some problems putting it on.. It seems there bumper is to small to fit over the Stock REBAR, if anyone has this Kit, what did they do to put it on?

I would really like to know, if you ahve any pics that would be even better..

Trim or remove the stock rebar.

If I take off the REBAR, and by chance i get into an accident, i am Screwed, and insurance will not cover. plus its a huge safetly thing.. plus it has to be supporting the Front end a bit.

Insurance will cover it (mine did, can't speak for all companies), as for damage, yes you will be screwed. My last car was a 2000 Protege with this exact kit on there. I still had a portion of the rebar on but it was trimmed significantly. A 15mph wreck totalled the car because of extensive frame damage...something to think about.

thats why I am wondering if it is even worth the time to do all this or jsut sell the front for if someone else wants to take on the task.....
hard choice..
