Window problem...

Hi all im new to these type of cars i currently own a 76 280z and bought this car to go to school... but i closed the door one day and when i closed it the window fell down... i thought i got the window to fall off the track so i took my door pannel off and i see that it didnt fall of the track theres this little yellow clip thing that broke it looks like it holds the window to the motor for the track or something.... now sure anyone know what this part is and what it actully does?

Nope, sorry, I know that the BG has two screws holding it up.
Isn't this the same like a screw, but then with a clip like thingie ???
