How many quarts of oil when changing (2000es 1.8L)

Recently bought a used 2000 ES 1.8L protege. I have 52k miles. How many quarts or liters of oil does the 2000 1.8L take? This dip stick is really hard to read. Maybe I'm just not used to it.

i usually put 4 in
