Problem with the volume control button (4m32 version)

Hello all, lurker with a 1st post.

I have had an annoying problem with my cd player/radio for the past year. The volume dial doesn't function properly (the sound will go down sometimes when I turn the button clockwise - which should increase the volume).

Does anyone know if there is a fix to this? Or am I stuck with getting a new/used cd/radio unit?

Mine does the same thing, but didn't start until after I put it back in (my aftermarket unit got stolen ). I don't think there's a fix. Oh, hi and welcome btw.
