Vin Locations?

Can anybody tell me where the vin numbers are on the engine of a 2003.5 Protege turbo?

should be a little plaque up by the windsheild on the drivers side.

i know about that one, i mean the vin number on the actual motor, unless there is not one.

There isn't a VIN on the motor that matches it to the chassis. There is also a VIN stamped into the firewall.

thanks a lot, i was just used to owning a honda with the vin on the motor, i thought the protege would have the same, but thanks a lot.
