I have a 2001 Protege LX 2.0 stock.
My speedo has stopped working again , I replaced the speed sensor on the side of the transmission 4 years ago , it appears to be the same issue.
Have any of you replaced this item yourselves and is there anywhere to get the part G565 17 400 other than at a Mazda dealer (68 dollars plus taxes in Canada here). I remember it was a messy job as its hard to work where the part is and the nut to remove it had rusted badly.
The car is a standard.
