Hi, I was hoping someone could explain these quirks in my cruise control operation:
-when I set it initially, it lets speed fall about 4 MPH before actually engaging
-whenever it's on, it constantly bounces above/below the set speed, i.e. setting it at 70 MPH makes it bounce between 69 and 71 every 5 seconds
-and finally, nudging the lever up or down (to accel/decel in small increments) doesn't really work: the engine revs like it's trying, but speed doesn't change (holding the lever for a second or more works fine)
I got a throttle body cleaning and also installed a new throttle cable, so that's not it.
Help appreciated.
