Hey guys, I'm looking for the plug/sensor combo that goes into the top of the coolant bottle on the 1.8 DOHC BP motor found in the 1st gen protege/Escort GT or any other that will plug in. Mine is missing what I believe is a rubber ring that would allow it to snap in and I'm tired of leaking coolant/light on.
I've checked misc. cars in my junkyard, all generation Escorts, mx-3 and mx-6 and none were the right one. Seems to be only found on the Escort GT/1st gen protege as far as I can tell. Maybe you guys know another model.
I am in PA near Philly for local pick up or shipped. Throw me up a price, I'm going to guess this will be an expensive item from Ford if they even carry it and I've seen no 1.8 BP motors in any of the local J/Ys.
