            OEM pistons are 8.8:1 compression, apparantly these are a true 9:1

            they wont drop into a standard block, you'd have to overbore it 20 thousandths

              I don't think import parts use thousandths like the SAE.
              Arene't them a straight metric measure?

                youre right, technically they are .50mm over-bore... which is 19.68 thou

                    no its not, he said they are 20 over pistons. they are stamped .50 on the piston tops, so the guy he bought them from assumed they were 50 thou over.. when really it meant .50 mm

                              That all depends on how much boost you plan on running.

                              Generally, the lower, the better for boosted engines. Personally, I'd stay stock.
