    FS: Sweet ST springs

    $40shipped

These are made by ST(item# 51-1177 cheap company spring tech for a 95-00 escort, NOT suspension technique) They're 2.5id fronts are 6in rears are 7in unknown rates, i'd guess 500/500. Heres pics of them on a stock protege with the zx2 sturts. So you can basically remove your stock springs and install these for an affordable decent suspension option.

it would be nice to have a slam daddy set of springs..

are those 16s with 45 series tires in the second pic?

i assume they fit a pro.. but they don't appear to have the correct tapper for my front struts... i'm running tokico zx2 s/r's...

    bump for nice price.

pic is 15's with 50 series. I daily drove these with the zx2 s/r's struts for 6+ months(they sit fairly level on the center of the sr strut) all the pics are sr strut, spring, stock upper perch/mount.

they would, someone has dibs so i'll pm them and get back to you asap, removing the stock springs from the struts is a pain though, you'll have to rent a spring compressor...

Glad I'm not the only one who noticed that. Is it really a good idea to use such springs without the proper equipment?

well, i daily drove with these spring and ZX2 sturts for 6+ months, our local roads are crusty so they're fairly solid on stock struts, i even did a fair bit of spirited driving, they don't shift or clank or anything. heres one of my many ricer vids with these springs, this was with studded tires in the rain/gravely road.

Wow, I've never heard of anyone using those springs like that.

And what was the point of that video?

I wish i could go that low but when you run a lower strut bar in the front your options are very limited.

Not as limited as you'd think.

My car is pretty low, and I don't have any problems. I'm really careful though.

Even though my car can be lower i wouldnt want it to be cause the bar rubs on speed bumps and had a few trash bags get caught around it.

TurboProto you should raise your front end up some, your LCA's are at a pretty hardcore angle and it's hurting your handling.
