I have finally decided that with no money and no job that I might as well start A) doing something and B) I have all this metal in these two cars taking up all my space in my garage, SO im tearing my green protege lx apart.
The A/C is original, not updated, and still blows cold (no leaks). complete system. NOTE: of course this will be drained and will need to be updated and refilled when installed.
The cruise control i never really gave a chance. Im not 100% sure it works as i personally really only have about 40 miles on this car. none the less it would be a complete system.
These would include all the switches lines, condensor, compressor. The CC would include the steering wheel center section including the back and front and the switches. If there is a need (not sure how mazda did their harnesses, if these would already be wired just not installed or if the harness was specific to options). I could probably do the pigtales for all the clips (im not about to undo a whole loom for this). If there is a need i could also print off a wiring schematic and send it with each system.
If there is anything else your looking for let me know. the vast majority of this car, ALL of the removable body parts, doors, fenders, hood, trunk, gas filler door are all going to the 4wd. ALL of the interior is going to the 4wd, and the motor is going to the 4wd. realistically like i said ill be usinng most of this but feel free to ask for anything and ill let you know.
I have one good fwd tranny that is from my escort a couple years ago, and i have a junker (i may end up just scrapping this one), It works but i took the 5th gear off my 4wd tranny to put in this as its the taller ratio, so there will be no 5th gear and its really a pretty tired tranny reguardless. I can include the original 5th gear assembly with this but one of the blocking rings was broken and will need to be replaced.
I also have a street imports fmic, turbonetics evolution wastegate, and a turbonetics T3/T4 turbo.
This is a gauging intrest thread, there are no listed prices and im not looking to get bids going. If there is interest in these parts I will make this a proper F/S post and generate prices. I will say for the record i have NO idea what the a/c and CC systems go for so if you have imput it would be appreciated but remember its not for sales imedate purposes.
