GI: parts to add second heat sink to MS

i'm ordering some spacers/nuts/bolts/etc that will allow me to add a second heat sink to my MS so i can run more transistors for additional outputs.

would anyone be interested in a "kit"? it would be approximately $12 shipped for a new heat sink, bolts, spacers, nuts, washers, etc.

Yeah I'd be down. 12 bucks now seems like a go.

Once more money frees up I'm gonna get a setup from Lex. I want launch, boost, nitrous, vaf delete, nls, and eventually wasted spark. Plus all the other options I can't think of at the moment.

So this would help me achieve that by increasing the outputs from 4 to what? 6?

It would mount right above the stock heat sink. I'll take pictures once the parts get here.

This doesn't actually increase your number of outputs, but it does give you a good place to mount all the extra transistors rather than drilling a bunch of holes in the case.

Thats good I have PWM idle transistor mounted in the case, and I have the all the spots on the original heatsink filled. I still need to add another injector driver for wasted spark. Count me in for a kit.

If I did anything for cooling of the MS. I would get a 1.5" cooling fan. Cut a hole in the top of the case add a few vent holes on the sides and wire it in to the 12 power

ive never heard of anyone having issues with overheating. there IS an issue with not having enough heat sink spots if you want to use a lot of extra outputs. thats what this is for...
