GI mx3 gs v6 swap items

Before anyone says "oh boy, chirs is at it again with another one of his "ideas"" stop right there. My bp has been doing poorly lately and I don't think its going to last as long as it will take to spend money on a klze/klde motor(xmas is right around the corner and I have kids). I have a bp disasembled in the garage so I'm not looking for trades. If this actually turns into a fs thread I'll post pics and prices. I'd like to sell as a complete ready to go drop in,minus motor, but will seperate if all can be sold. I'll make a list of ppl that want particular items.

Kit would consist of:
Mx3 trans(drove it home and went thru all gears fine)
Mx3 ecu
Mx3 je50 vaf
Mx3 engine wiring harness
Mx3 jack shaft(the axles are shot)
Mx3 crossmemebr
Mx3 motor mounts(except pass side mount)
Mx3 flywheel
Mx3 throttle cable
Mx3 shifter assembly(will need bushings as there's a lot of slop)
Mx3 gauge cluster


I'm not pulling the other harness to run the fans/gauge cluster unless you come straight with more money. You'll need to sorce your own LCAs or run rx7 balljoints. You'll need your own motor. Loacl pickup would be perfered but will ship at buyers expense. Shipping will be costly I will warn you that now.

Yes but I can finish this extra bp for less than 400 where as I'll have to buy a kl for 200-300 then put new timing components and gaskets/seals and new clutch in and that would be well over 500. Trust me I though long and hard about hurrying up with the kl swap and I'm still crossing my fingers my bp lasts

Just get a DE motor from the jy and drop it in. You have all the hardware to do the swap in 2-3 days. Then, you can slowly waste money on a ZE. If it's not broken, don't fix it, especially if you have a budget.

See the only problem with that is this is my only car so if I did get a 200 dollar jy motor and waste a day pulling it and drop it in my car then something is wrong with the motor then I have to take off work to go pull another 1 or swap back the bp. Its a good idea don't get me wrong, but I'd need to know its good to go.


To all others this is just a gi thread and I won't fully go thru with the sale till I can figure out how my motor is doing and also I still need to pull everything so there's parts in the mx3 that may be no good. Nothing drastic, I'm talking about a ****ty axle boot, broken mount, **** like that. It ran and we drove it too my house without issue besides an over heat so it should be fine
