Stolen Mazda 323 GTR in Canada, Quebec!!

[323 GT-R]

Hi Everyone,

A very good friend of mine got his car stolen last night in Quebec, Canada.
His car was a 1992 Mazda 323 GT-R from Japan.


Specs:
Custom 3in exhaust, magnaflow universal oval muffler, Dual gauge pod(boost + AEM wideband), autometer boost controller.



Please before buying any GTR parts from a Quebec resident, advise me.
Every little help is very appreciated and I hope we can find who was stupid enough to steal a GTR.

I'm not sure how it was stolen, but one simple way to help deter a thief is to cut the clutch safety switch wire (the one that makes you have to push the pedal to start) and connect each end with a wire to a second toggle switch hidden in a easily accessible, but not obvious place.

When this is switched off, even with the key nothing happens. Same as if you didn't push the clutch pedal in.

Of course, if it was towed away this wouldn't have helped.

The good thing is that legit GTR's aren't common at all. SO it's bound to pop up on somebodies radar (or at least parts) if it's still in north america.
