    BPT Engine for sale

    I am selling my BPT. It has everything with it except turbo and manifold and spark plug cables. Perfect if you want to beef it up and put a big turbo on it. Asking $700 obo. Pick up would be great if possible because shipping engines is a pain.

          Thats why I said it would be good if someone is looking for an engine to beef up. When you rebuild an engine you usually go for a bigger and better turbo anyway.

            How many miles on it? You gotta understand now its just a bp with a restrictive head, The stock bp can hold 400 hp and has a better flowing head, You can buy a bpt motor for 800 with a turbo so i would say you can get 350-400 maybe alittle more

                I got it straight from corksport a while back. Only put maybe a 100 miles on it if that and then I blew the tranny(the tranny was a piece of crap). I dont have enough time to tune it and get it running like it should now that I am in school. Thats why I also said obo becuase I wasnt sure on what I could get it for without the turbo and mani but someone said they sell them on ebay for that all the time.

                    I dont think so. I will most likely drop something else in again to have my car back but then use all my parts I have now for a new poject.

                        I have a 93 escort.. as seen in the sig. I live in Bridgeport, CT. I'm interested in your motor, but Any chance of it having an ecu + harness ? This place sells the motor with ecu + harness for 950.. I wanna get one I can just swap in. Lemme know whats up, later.

                            I dont have the ECU and harness. I was using the mx-3 harness and the S-AFC. I have had problems with it. The engine just floods every time I try to start it. The timing might be off. I dont have tim to fool around with it thats why im selling. I have a few buyers so if you guys above are really interested, try to contact me at mx3TT on AIM.
