FS: 1st Gen Pro/323 manual steering rack. REMOVE DAT HEAVY POWA STEERING Y0!!

I have a manual steering rack from a 91 323 that I have no use for. It is in great condition, both of hte steering gear boots aren't torn at all & the whole unit looks clean. The tie-rod ends are also in good shape. Both ends of both tie-rods has zero play, and I'm able to easily turn the rack just by turning the little pinion gear that plugs into the steering shaft.


This rack will fit any 90-94 Protege, 323, MX3 and Ford Escort. Will allow you to get rid of your evil Power steering system and lose that weight & parasitic loss via the pump.



I'm thinking around $50 shipped for this thing. It is kinda long so I'll have to fabricate a box for it, but it isn't heavy at all, maybe 10 lbs at the most. Will ship via UPS ground.

and it turns out you wouldn't want it anyways. it has a 4.3 lock-to-lock ratio as compared to the stock PS rack's 3.1 and the MX3 GS 2.7
