"Stainless steel" could be a lot of things, what grade are the bolts you're using? Have you even tried the ES kit to see how it fits? What kinds of nuts are you using? How stiff are the delrin bushings in relation to other bushings? Are the endlinks a high enough grade steel that they won't snap on lowered cars if the bushings are particularly stiff?

they are 304 stainless 70 KSI grade 5 bolts. Now, before you say "I want grade 8" Im NOT using grade 8, simply because if something breaks, I want it to be a swaybar endlink, and not a control arm.
I have used the ES kit, and its from using the Es kit, and its low quality washers and hardware that I finally got aggrivated enough to make my own.
Im using Nylock nuts. I was going to use center distorted mechanical nuts, but I couldnt find any cheap enough.
The washers are .900" in dia, .050" thick, and a .400" hole in the center.
The delrin is EXTREMELY stiff compared to poly, so expect them to make some rattles, however, I have turned ALL bushings for my car out of delrin, except the steering rack, and endlink bushings, and the increase in performance is well worth a little extra noise.
EDIT, one more thing, how far you tension the bolt will alsohave a very direct effect on how much force it takes to break the bolt, keep that in mind. You should only put enough force on it to get the job done. You dont want to waste all of the bolt elasticity on cranking it down tight, instead of using it to allow some give for suspension articulation.
More info: This is definately a go, as I have begun ordering parts. If you have the $$ now, I would appreciate if you would make a paypal payment to jaartrip@mtu.edu. I also ask that if you are not paying by bank transfer, that you add the 3% paypal fee ($1.50) to your payment please.
I will also accept money orders. Orders will be filled on a first paid basis, so the first person to show me the $$ will be the first person to get his endlinks!
I recommend torquing the bolts to around 20 ft-lb. This should be more then sufficient to hold everything in line, and also to allow flex in the bolt to prevent breakage.
when paying please include your forum, forum username, real name, shipping address, and phone number.
they might add a little bit of road noise, thats about it.
i'm paid in full for 2 sets by the way

mabye a little road noise, but the main thing you will notice is tighter turning response.
BTW, the bolts showed up today, but the guy forgot one bag of washers, so he is sending the other bag tomorrow, and the delrin is ordered. I just have to order the SS tube for the spacers. I need someone with an ES kit though to tell me if the rear spacer is 1" tall like the front one, please!

I have the ES setup on the rear of my old Escort LX. I should be able to measure it in the morning
