well i mean if you go with the stock 2nd gen 95 ES axles (i think that was the bp model?) you will need a 28 spline diff. i heard that the 26 spline 1st gen axles may be too short.

He's talking about the diff bolts but was very vague /i think
I live my life a quarter pounder at a time. And for those 500 calories or more, I'm free. I need FRIES! Two of them. The big ones. Oh, and I need them tonight. You're lucky the double shot of BBQ sauce didn't blow the seam on your nugget box. There she is, 2 pounds of pure beef. My dad ate it in 9.0 seconds flat. Check it out, it's like this. If I lose, winner takes my happy meal. But if I win, I take the burger and the toy. To some people, that's more important.

sounds like one of the OE honda applications uses the correct size bolts for this, which is awesome.

btw this does NOT mean that you can use honda bolts for any other mazda diff. the mfactory diff is going to be threaded like a honda diff.

does that mean we will have to thread the ring gear?

No, the diff will have the threaded holes. So, instead of having to use the expensive ARP bolts and nuts, you'll only need some oem Honda bolts (no nuts).

since this is a helical style lsd we do not an lsd additve right compared to a clutch type lsd?

                          Comment

Correct, the torsen style LSD just runs in regular gearbox oil....

                            unlike clutch style LSDs.

I run synthetic DX3 Auto trans fluid in my Torsen box and its perfect. I tried different synthetic gear oils but its all too thick, nothing beats synth dx3.

Yup, sorry, was a bit vague. The LSD bolt holes will be threaded, and will accept the oem Honda diff bolts.

for oil, just run your regular MTF
