haha get it signed with like a paint marker and then just spray clear on it.

Jim, if no one else can get a measurement I'll see if I can borrow someone today to take one from my wagon. also, I thought I was running a ton of camber up front, but after looking at your pictures... daaaaaaaaang.

cool idea!! could charge more for the "signature series" lol
I think it's going to hit the fittings on the back rail, but we'll see. Either way, i guess what's another hole in my hood if we have to raise it up?

      IN for signature series!!!!

Jim, i want some BIG die-cut vinyls for my car as well. This car wouldn't have happened without you.

Actually, if you want.... i can design some and have a bunch cut if you want them to have around?

There is a surprising amount of hood clearance on the 2nd gen escort according to my measurements. More then the other BG chassis.

Some stickers with just the website address would be cool, but for me about the size of the CP decals.

My measurement Jim is 39 1/4 center to center

Thanks guys---I'd love to get as many measurements as I can---it actually helps if you can get someone else to hold the other end and pull tight---we're just past 39 1/4" at the top of the ksport/point camberplate front inner bolts. Here's a couple shot's of that bar with the raised back---it's up a bit from the others. The hot ticket for the roadrace stuff/geometry is to max out the camber at the plate/strut tower (we pulled my own racecar another 1/4") and then back off the camber at the knuckle to what you need-when I was racing for Dodge in the SRT4 they had thier suspension guru help with setup and I saw the benefits on paper and then after driving it confirmed the benefit. I do plan on doing both domed emblems for the back of the car---next to the GT or something and then both a diecut vinyl 1" x 5" sticker for the small tubes and hopefully either a laser cut aluminum plate that you can pop rivet on, or a steel one that gets welded. Unfortunately these wont be done in time for the strut bars, but I'll send something back out when I receive them.

Awesome! That bar looks perfect for what I need Jim! I love the rivet plate or weld-on plate idea. The perfect way to finish it! I'll rep the Vinyls too for sure!

Hey Jim how much does the bar go up from the plates? I think i'm going to need about 1.", but dont know if that will clear the hood.

If I set the bar on a flat surface the front is around 3/4" up, the rear I'll have to check tomorrow, but I think we kicked it up to over an 1 1/4" on one unit and it still cleared my carbon hood without room to spare. We'll make sure and get it to fit---take a piece of 2" tubing and set it on top---try even 2 1/4" and check clearances. The front tube is straight across and the rear tube is just in front of the MC cap...

I think the front one is my issue... i can't really move this fitting around due to the way i had to mount it. I think i'm going to need about 1.5" total raise in the front bar, and pretty quickly. I'm cutting the skeleton out of the hood so that should help a little for clearance.

                      Here's some pics.

Driver's strut tower. That "Y" fitting is the problem.

Hey guys---just checking in, it looks like we'll be able to ship out 4 this week---we got 3 out last week, 4 this week and hopefully another 4 next week-should finish everyone up the following. So far so good!! The first three should be landing pretty quick and I'd like to hear how they fit ASAP---I test fit the bars on an MX3 with the 1.6 the other day and it dropped right on which eased my mind a bit...talk soon

Very nice work. I'm in no rush to get mine, as I won't be driving the car till spring. That said, I can pay the balance whenever, just have to know how much after shipping.

Absolutely---I've been responding to the paypal emails rather than here---Matt caught one and said it went straight to his spam box---your's went out last week and you should have it pretty quick here, like today/tomorrow I'd bet. I'll check when I get home tonight.
