Did some internet digging, would the MOOG replacement spring specifications help? This data was pulled for a 1994 Protege 1.8 DOHC, Manual Trans, with Air Conditioning. (They also list it as fitting the BG chassis escort - MX3 must be different enough in weight to warrant different p/n's.)

If the springs we'll be using here are in Kg/mm i would suggest either 5.5F/4.0R or 5.0F/3.5R.
