Well time has come for me to part with this project of mine. I have realized that i'm very much loosing the interest in the tuning/racing field and given this tendency, I want to sell the car before it rusts in my garage. Plus i want to get some more room in the driveway.
So here goes. Car has been purchased at 144K miles. It currently has about 148K. So all in all, i have driven 4K miles over the 2 years that i've owned it. Engine runs good, transmission shifts smoothly. Exterior is alright (just like what you would expect from a 15 year old car), interior is abit beat up, but still all good.
I'll do a quick run of what has been done with the car to this point:
Maintenance and OEM:
Springs (Stocks) and Shocks (GR2) replaced with new units in 2004
Tires are Bridgestone Potenza (Subaru take-offs) w/ less then 1500 miles
Energy Suspension bushings kit installed in 2004
Performance:
ACT 6-puck clutch kit
2.5" custom exhaust
Howe 3" racing radiator
Permacool 14" electric fan
Walbro 255lph fuel pump
B&M short shifter
Corksport SS clutch line
ISSPRO ambient temp gauge
Autometer voltmeter gauge
Autometer oil pressure gauge (unplugged)
Problems:
Car has a rusted through brake line that goes to the rear left brake. The problem is somewhat significant (leaks pretty badly), but is very fixible. The rust spot is in the metal line which has to be custom made (factory does not make replacements for it), but shouldn't be challenge for a mechanically inclined person. Last picture below should give you the idea about the damage.
Overall the car is in good condition, smooth and handles nicely. It runs and drives, so a test drive can be arranged and you *could* drive it away home if you drive very carefully, although i wouldn't recommend driving it for long distances (with the leaking brakes). Will make a great project for someone inclined to work on it. I just have no time anymore, plus lost most of the interest in performance tuning :-/
Pictures:
Anyway. I want this thing gone. So i'll entertain any offers. You can contact me through pm here, or email (iminin83@hotmail.com).
Thanks,
kreator
