I'm 2300 miles, in bozeman, mt. In all honesty, if it can drive long distance, I'll find the money somehow. put the bp in the trunk and drive. No car! I soldz it. Now I have a truck. I like it, but apparently it has a hard time keeping up with a slightly modified 4WD protege with half the hp. Neat.

Damn that's a long road trip lol. I'm pretty sure the road trip wouldn't be a problem for it. It has all new plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. Only thing Id be worried about is the bad brakes. It stops, but takes a little bit lol.
Well, just let me know if you guys come up with the money. Im going to detail it and make it all shiny as soon as I get it home. It looks like it was sitting under a tree or something. And smells kinda "New Hampshire-ey"... lol aka like woods.
Let me know.

money is not my problem... I would need some (ok quite a few) pictures of the car before i EVER considered this... and 1500 would be BP-less as i already have one chilling in my parents garage with a pretty turbo hanging off it itching to spool again!.
I just want to make sure i dont get the shaft like jason did buying a rust bucket and shipping it across the united states. I know you say its minimal... id like to see how it would compair to a west coast carThere are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

^^^^ Not bashing, it just sucks that the east cost is so hard on vehicles since it seems the majority of these 4wd's happen to go to the east coast. I know that I looked for one for 3+ months before I setteled on the one I got and couldn't find one else where. Looking at the cancer on that car it looks worse then the cancer that was on the body of my car. Most all the cancer in my car was on the underside (holes in floor boards ect). Sorry to high jack,
good luck on your sell

YOUR THE DEVIL BRINGING CARS TO HELL!!!
haha
a little too rusty for my skills... if i had the repair knowlage and skill id be all over this like white on rice, but i dont and i dont want to drive a rust bucket because i cannot afford 5k to have a body shop repair the damage and respray.
good luck with the sale! There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

**** rockers are easy.. onlt like 100 spot welds to get the old one off and all the seams are covered by panels or undercoat. all you need is some sort of skill with a mig and the rest is logical
on a side note, good luck with the sell"Discontent is the first necessity of progress."
