I have too many projects, no money, and have been working 7 days a week... It's time to sell this car. I need a new engine in my wagon, and a new tranny in my Escort GT-s, as well as the need to build a new motor for the Escort, because I went lean and melted the pistons in my original motor and am currently using my back-up that burns oil like crazy.
I hate to let the 4wd go, but it is not a realistic project anymore. I cant name a price on the car until I have proper pics, but I will say that it will be less than $201, by more than 99cents, but not a lot more. I need it gone... I need my garage back, and you are going to have to pick it up from Golden Colorado, so I think my price is fair for everyone.
My goal was to do a BPT engine swap, and restore the appearance of the car, while going with a custom/EDM/JDM style, and do quite a bit of suspension upgrades. I wanted to build a car that can compete with the more well known Japanese AWD/4WD vehicles, but would stand out with a unique look and style. Now I just need to sell it, so I can fix the turd Escort and the turd Tracer, so I can save for my next turd project.
Let me begin by saying, this project is not for beginners. It needs a lot of work.
The car is 99% rust free, with two small spots on each a-pillar beside the windshield, and a spot on the floor boards from a leaky sunroof. Other than that, it is pretty sound. It does need body work, and has a lot of dents and dings. There has been some body work done in the past on the car, and some has been done recently in my attempt to have a perfect car. the car is currently multicolored with primer and test spots of various paint color options, and will need to be sanded and have a few dents pulled/filled, and those five rust spots I mentioned will need fixed before it's ready for paint...
What the car will not have:
Front or rear bumper, wheels or tires, Engine, radiator, hood, exterior lights, various interior pieces, grille, or rear garnish. The deck lid will be there but with 2 holes drilled for the spoiler.
What it will include:
All 4wd specific parts except for floor carpet, and front seats. (I have MX3 seats that fit the car, and the pass side was modified to sit level on the 4wd pass side floor pan) 4wd parts are 5-speed Transmission (w/GTR front mount bracket), and full drivetrain complete from trans to all 4 axle nuts, all steering and suspension components, front and rear subframes, rear seats, entire fuel system.
Other parts included are every piece of glass in good condition (some pieces have ****ty 20 year old tint though) ECU, all wiring, upper dash and 4wd cluster, as well as LX tach cluster, full brake system and quite a bit more as well.
Basically it's a rolling shell, without wheels/tires, and with a full drivetrain, and some other extras.

JDM and EDM parts, custom made parts like the fog grille and lip spoiler, as well as a PNP NA Miata instrument cluster w/ boost gauge where the oil pressure gauge was, and many junkyard upgrades, like a slant headlight conversion. PNP power windows specifically set up for a 4wd, mx3 lower dash center console and steering wheel, canadian manual belts, and a lot more.

Let's see some real interest from someone who would be willing to come pick it up and take it home with them, I am basically giving the car away for the price of the drivetrain!
