93 protege DX . 1.8sohc, 146k, auto.
This car has been my daily for two years. I stopped driving it for a few months due to having too many cars.
Runs and drives great. Everything that I thought was on its way out was replaced for the most part. Body isn't 100% due to getting backed into at two mph. But there's no rust minus a small spot in the rear quarter panel.Girl owned, and never beat
On. Trans is smooth, ac is ice, heat is scolding.
New :
Valve cover gasket ,
brakes ,rotors,pads
Wheel cylinders
Thermostat
Passenger marker light
Spark plugs and wires And coil
All belts
Tail light bulb
Aftermarket Axles
Exhaust from header back (cat is new and passes inspection without any problems)
Battery
Aftermarket Tie rods (inner and outer)
Tail light bulbs and fuses
Doesn't leak oil or anything. Gets great gas mileage too.
There's probably some stuff I'm forgetting about .
Parts I have yet to put on (aren't really needed, just decided to buy everything for future use )
Hubs
Aftermarket Control arms and bushings
Wheel bearings
Ball joints
H&r springs
Kyb shocks & struts
Now for the bad:
Since I got backed into by a SUV, I guess you could say they went over me and I went under them. So..even though the lady was doing 2 mph, my hood doesn't line up perfect(it closes and latches, just rattles when the defroster is on), the grill is broke , passenger front fender is pushed back a hair and lastly the marker light doesn't line up perfect because of the fender issue .
Other than that bein the worst of it.. The car drives perfect . No issues ever. Will run forever .
I don't know what I'm asking for this car. Lets start atttttt 1500(only because more than half the crap is new.. And I have no use for any of it after this car leaves) I kind of just want it gone . If it doesn't sell, I'm parting out the good parts, and junking the shell.
