    WTB: 97-98 Protege

    Requirements:
    -1997 - 1998
    -5 speed
    -no rust - willing to go south or west for this
    -clean title
    -good running condition

    Bonus points:
    -1.8L
    -1998

    Acceptable:
    -minor body/glass damage
    -poor interior condition
    -poor paint condition

              That one is in excellent condition and must have been garage kept. Paint and interior normally dont look that good here on an older car. I checked and the only other BH's that have Auto trannies are either high mileage (200+) with a 1.5L or beat up.

              If I had the money I would pick it up for a DD and park the escort.

                      Geez, maybe we should keep a look out when we are in Phoenix again thanksgiving week. Our last one from Phoenix served us well for 3 years (*which was a 5 year search to find) but we sold it back in June for $2500 (at a loss of course because by that time we had over $3500 into it but oh well, it was enjoyable to have for a while).

                      Anyway, what is your USD spend budget at this point anyway?

                        Let's see...rear brakes..plus rotors and a left rear caliper..$160 Canadian.. right front drive axle..$85.. alternator..$120..oil changes every 5000km.$32 each..oh yeah the best part I bought the car for $400 plus tax..as for the thule racks they were out to lunch..
