Well --
First off, I am located in Lawrenceville, GA. I am about 30 miles away from Atlanta. For the right trade or deal, I am willing to meet 1/2 way. So if you are within 200 miles of Atlanta we can deal. Not willing to ship anything right now.
I'm not a regular reader of these forums, but I refer to them a lot for the great tech info....
I'm one of the members of FordFestiva.com. I'm swapping a BP into my Festiva, and bought a Kia G-Series 5-spd from a member of this forum (really good guy, BTW)....because everything I've read states that these are the strongest trans that I can squeeze into my little car. Unfortunately, I am having trouble finding the special jackshaft I need to make this work (I need a Capri XR2 jackshaft -- very had to find), and I want to get this project moving along while the days are still kinda warm.
When I got the trans, I degreased it and painted it with aluminum paint. Its very clean and ready to be installed, see the pics.
I am looking to trade this for any good F series and a set of axles from a 1986-1989 Mazda 323 (non turbo) or 1986-1989 Mercury Tracer. I'm not concerned with the condition of the axles so much -- I will probably just use them for cores for rebuilt ones, but the trans must be in good shape, as mine is. I can include some cash if you have something really nice, or new axles or something.
