There is an mx3 with a KLZE swap in one of my junkyards. I already stripped it of most the modified parts. The shifter linkage is still there, and in decent shape. PM me if you cannot find one, I'm free to pick it up on wednesday for you if needed.Current:

86 MR2
91 F150
94 Escort Wagon BP swap
99 Escort Wagon BP swap

The stabilizer bar is the same but the actual shift linkage whcih connects to the tranny shift shaft is offset on the V6 MX-3 by about 1/2" or so from the I4. I say this because alot of the stabilizers are wrecked i.e. the rubber isolator loses its bond to the housing and the shifter will fall throguh the floor. But you can replace it from any MX-3 or 90-94' Protege.
Just FYI.

The BG Protege and MX-3 RS stabilizer bar and shift rod are exactly the same. The MX-3 GS shift rod is slightly different. That's all I'm saying.
And check the condition of the isolator rubber dealy at the bottom of the shifter in the floor. They tend to rot and fall apart and the shifter will fall through the floor. I'm also saying that.

The linkage is different between the two.. The protege linkage is about a 1/2 inch shorter. I COULD NOT bolt up the stock protege linkage to my v6 trans when I did the swap. I needed the v6 mx3 linkage. Ive seen where someone slotted the holes in the floor for the shifter but ide say just get the right stuff. THE STATIONARY PART OF THE LINKAGE WILL NOT EVEN BOLT UP ITS TOO SHORT

when the shifter fell through the floor on my protege , I couldnt get the stock linkage to line up.. it was about a half inch to short, so I had to rob my mx3's linkage and it fit right up. With junkyard cars u never know if its been replaced or not, especially with how crappy our linkages are. ive had that **** fall and scrape on the ground before.
