    klde/klze radiator

    am trying to get some ideas for what radiator to used on a protege kl swap. i try using the mx6 but is to big. not enought space.

    Sohc 1.8t used a neon rad.

          clint used a stock probe/mx6 one on his escort i know. was a tight fit. but def works.

            mx6 rad i dont like the fitment to close to the header, altenator, to the headlight. in my opinion is to tight

              I am not sure if it can help, but I use a 89 Cherokee 4L radiator and it is located in my front bumper with 2 push fans.

                  ive never had issues with my probe gt radiators.If your worried about clearance, fill your mounts.The motor wont move 3" forward if you have good mounts.Ive always trimmed the sheetmetal below the headlight buckets and i had more than enough clearance, and it handles hard launches at the track with out a hitch.
