Hey guys-quick update, the 2wd units are pretty much done---the 4wd bases are cut/assembled and just waiting for verification/fitment which should happen by the end of the month/next few weeks I believe. I'm going to start building the rear control arms in a week or so---I know a couple of the 2wd guys are wanting to use the stock arms---how many of the AWD guys are going to want to use the tubular arms with the rodends?

JIM! I am alive. Sorry for being MIA. Recovery hasn't been what I expected, apparently its a long drawn out process, lol. That being said I believe I am mobile enough to do some work. The weather appears to be cooperating more and more to. SOO, I am hoping over the course of the next week or so to pull the rear sub frame and get this prototype up there for measurements. Again, I apologize for the timing of things. Thanks again!Ian Boyd- Bellingham, WA (click vehicle to view)

I put together Beau's lateral arms and lopped off one of the bushing ends so he can run a rodend on the trailing arm...Had JRALLY make spacers for spindles and bushings to bind up the swaybar arm so it doesn't "clack" back and forth under load...He's using one of the old progress (I think) zx2 swaybars so it's got adjustability at both the swaybar and the lateral link---lot's of adjustability!!sigpicwww.piercemotorsports.com www.piercemotorsport.com Like us on facebook http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/p...91292610897146

No for a darker story. Lol. I was feeling pretty bad( really horrible actually) monday evening/night. So tuesday morning I went to the docotors and that evening I had an orthoscopic surgery to flush an infection out of my knee.
Doesn't end there though. I felt like **** all night after surgery and bitched and moaned to all the pretty nurses but it wasn't till the next day, wednesday that I was able to be diagnoised with appendicitis!!! Yay. Got that out wednesday night and have been in the hospital since. Should be home for good soon.
The worst part is I literally just prior to this got all my tool organized and parts out to size up the crossmember this week as its the first time ive been capable. Not sure what the set back will be time wise. I dont anticipate much but lets be realistic. Next time I post I'll probably have aids or worse.Ian Boyd- Bellingham, WA (click vehicle to view)

WOW---you know in 20 years you'll look back on this and have a great story to tell---it's not so much fun going through it right now, but the end is in sight! Feel better Ian---I'm so slammed this month I couldn't do anything anyways...sigpicwww.piercemotorsports.com www.piercemotorsport.com Like us on facebook http://www.facebook.com/home.php#!/p...91292610897146

Tyler I've got the bases built and even some of the cups so when we get some verification we'll be good to go. Kaleo stopped in the shop last week-I'd almost forgotten he was part of this one! He'd gotten his tax return and also had started a new biz that requires him to travel out this way more often---he may be relocating up to the pacific northwest which would be really cool. We've started finishing up his unit and I'll post up some pics this week.Ian Boyd- Bellingham, WA (click vehicle to view)
