    go ms?

bf gtx ,full gtr drivetrain, ecu.got the f/pump,clutch,w/band.Those of you who swapped to ms,are you happy with the end result? How's the driveability, how's the power? What do you say?Go for it or what? I'm thinking 550 injectors,a megasquirt & winding it a little tighter! Thanks NickZ

M323 is running a GTR engine on a Lex build MS. we installed it and he drove it home 1000 miles 4 days later

overall just like any standalone its all about the quality of the install and the tune.

'90 AWD Protege, yet another GTR swap, Open class rallycar with a Toyota GT4 gearbox swap, thus crossing the line between hobby and mental illness. And a Brabus E55 K8, removing all doubt.

I am extremely happy with my MS. Lex also built mine and has great customer support to make installing it and setting it up easy. You won't be disappointed.

if you buy a PnP kit from lex its plug in and go pretty much. hes willing to help via email when needed also.

also since anything aside from a stock car is not optimal for a stock ecu, a standalone is the best solution to get your car to run right.

my ZE 323 is on MS and runs TONS better than it did with a stock mazda ecu, and I dont have that silly fail distributor either

Ive heard nothing but good things from ppl running lex's stuff.. im running one that i got from someone else.. ms1 extra from 3 years ago.. everythings worked great aside from my inabiility to tune it properly.. which is my own lack of knowledge.. and untill i got a new laptop and put it to it i was happy with it but now im having issues with getting proper readings for my AFRs.. not sure what the issue is but i say go for it

Just wanted to say that buying a Stratified PNP from Lex was a very good decision, the guy was soooo helpful.I got my machine running just fine for months now ,never a problem.Super solid service you cannot put a price to!

did you go with the VAF delete? If so, was wiring in the IAT sensor and removing the VAF much work? Please share the work you had to do if you don't mind lol...just roughly...thinking about MS myself, but will be saving for a while

it's really simple. You just jump a wire on the vaf connector, and weld in the iat

thats how i hooked up the 9093 miata pnp i put in, just ran the iat wires to the afm connector with some terminals for now. when the harness gets pulled over winter itll be ran with the stock wires. on mine its ran off the pnp jumper harness out to the engine bay...either way gets the signal back tho..

still thinking about boarding the MS train...not really wanting to run ms3 due to the cost of the unit...plus all I want is to ditch the VAF and control my fuel/spark...any of these kits seem any good??

                          ms1 I think?

all the kits ive built are from DIY,

please realize that you need to be fairly competent at soldering to build these, im not trying to insult anyone ability but i have run into a few cases where people could have saved alot of money and headaches by buying preassembled or by spending time practicing soldering before hand.

i have been thinking about megasquirt for the longest time, just hard to save up the money for one when other things keep happening. I say go for it and if you know how to solder get the DIY kit, if not, go for the prebuilt one.
