No one wants to rebuild a vj-20?

I've been calling around and every turbo rebuilder I speak with won't rebuild my IHI VJ-20 and hybrid it with a vj-17 cold side.. They are telling me that the rebuild kits that they can find are all cheap and wear out too quickly for them to warranty the rebuild so they turn the work down..

Does anyone else have a solution? Can anyone find me a rebuild kit that isn't an ebay special for my RHB5?

Also I found this on ebay. Is this a genuine IHI CHRA or a repop? Will it be of any use in my dilemma?

I found these guys and they sound very professional. They claim to have rebuild kits that are OEM equivalent and that are not Chinese metal. They are very aware of my hybrid setup I want to do and they rebuild RHB5 turbos all the time.. I think I will be using them. They offer a 12 month unlimited mileage warranty after they clean, rebuild, and balance the turbo. Anyone have bad experience with them? They said they have successfully rebuilt 5,000 turbos in ten years so I'm convinced they will do a fine job.

Also I want to go with some new injectors for my engine. I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions. I will be getting a MS2 unit soon and I was thinking of 460cc. Any brands or part numbers you all suggest? I've heard of RC injectors as being pretty nice.

talked to RC and they said I might as well go with a 550 if I'm going to spend the money on injectors. With the vj20/17 hybrid and MS2 does it warrant going bigger on injector size if I want to turn the boost up to make 200+hp? I'm shooting for under 250hp in my car because I really don't feel like breaking anything in my car..however, I don't want the 330's to be at 100% duty cycle all the time if I want my boost turned up after I tune..

IIRC RC injectors are old tech. Really no better then the gtx or rx7 everybody runs, I remember reading. Your better off with some of the newer rebuilt denso rx8 injectors like already mentioned if you want to spend the money on some new injectors. Or you can get some DW or ID injectors if you want to go all out.

RX8 yellow injector are great and will be a good match for that hybrid.

I have RX8 injectors on my vj20 set up running 14lbs of boost an they work nicely! I would recommend them! Plus you can get them for about $200 off rockauto which is a plus.

When I go to rockauto.com what year and model rx7? 1987 turbo II? NA? Doy ou have a part number for the low impedence injectors with oval connectors so they plug and play with my escort gt harness? I don't want to wire in a resistor box or have to install a special driver for injectors in the MS2

Okay the 89-91 rx7 injectors on rockauto.com have the oval connector like I need but they don't tell me the cc/lb of the injector itself. If anyone has the part number or can tell me if I need the turbo or NA injector that would be greatly appreciated.
