    Aftermarket Electronic Boost Controller

What are some aftermarket ELECTRONIC boost controller/piggy back/engine management unit that can be used in BPT/BPD motor?

How do you install them if ever?

Haltech, megasquirt, E-Manage, SAFC-I, SAFC-II, the list goes on and on for A/F controllers.

A boost controller, will control only boost. Not fuel or anything else. While many will use those, IMO why not control it all from one box and be done with it?

E-Manage seems like the best deal

the thing is, how do you wire the E-manage to the ECU of the BPT? the ECU of a BPT engine is not among those listed in the manual of the e-manage that has some guide on wiring this unit to the ECU

any leads on this? or "how to's"

        thanks.

You splice the wires into the loom. AFAIK nobody has done it yet so no, there are no how to's. I might make one when I wire in the E-Manage to my gtr, but that's probly a ways down the road. I've seen how to's on Honda's etc, you can search Google for that and get a basic idea of what needs to be done.

As for EBC's, Greddy makes a nice unit. (Profec B-SpecII)
Oh and if you get an E-Manage, you can buy the E-01 boost controller/E-Manage programmer to go with it.
