the BP has 8.8:1 until late designs.

Wack the stock manifold off @ the collector & just weld on a turbo flange.
poof make piping & use a safc on a bp computer. simple & easy

Apparently no one on here has done what you're asking to do. We all mostly are about BP's... the technology is just the same, so just use the knowledge and put two and two together. Read a lot of the FAQ's and stuff.

You're on your own for parts and stuff, prolly have to go custom cause there ain't much around for turbo'ing a B8 that I've seen.

You need a turbo, an exhaust manifold and some kinda engine management. No one is gonna tell you exactly what's gonna make you 160hp cause no one has don't a turbo B8.

Might wanna check car domain and see who's done something like that.

here is a link to something that might help,

there have been a few sohc turbo guys on here but, they all
seem to upgrade to bp's later down the line.

you might be able to run a gtx ecu and 330cc injectors, im not sure about the harness diffrences SOHC VS. DOHC, but people run gtx ecu's on n/a bp harnesses, all the time, check into, i would go that route if you can.
it would be the safest to run a gtx ecu route
also some people are just running bigger injectors and a tuned VAM's,
alot of P.R. guys a florida guys run this way, those guys sware by it, but
alot of guys on here doubt them.
            thanks ryan

just do a DOHC head swap? since it has the same bottom end, it'll give you a lower c/r, so you SHOULD be able to run more boost. you wouldnt have to worry about running wires to the VICS if you use a GTX/GTR intake manifold.

GTXmanifold is the worst manifold you can run, it would be a downgrade from NA. Keep that in mind

oups, yea, i forgot about that part. so yea! just do a DOHC head swap, new head gasket, n/a intake manfold/tb, that way you can check our your rings, and know you'll have good valve seals with the new head. then you need to run 2 wires i think? one for VICS and one to the disti? that way heaving a DOHC head allows you to run a gtx turbo mani.

anyways, that's probably your best bet in all honesty.

If your going to spend the time and effor to do a head swap why dont you just yank the whole motor out and put in a nice BP. I just dont quite get it why people are willing to swap heads when they can just put the better motor in.
