There isnt a knock sensor on the BP just on the BPT.Mx3 RS,BP-turbo

that isnt the problem. 90% of people use no knock sensor and have no problems. without it all the ECU does is retard your base timing by 1 degree.

What's your plug gap? On a stock coil you don't want more than about .027-.028.'90 AWD Protege, full GTR drivetrain swap, ~320 whp daily driver, RIP, and
