    Lookit all the stuff....

It ain't like the car doesn't have a turbo/IC/fans/trans cooler/BOV, it's just that none of it is doing what I need it to do! The T3 too big and too laggy with the 34mm restrictor they make us use, the SMIC is tiny and useless, the BOV is freaking stock, and the fans and trans cooler are in the way of that fancy IC I picked up off craigslist for 175 bucks. I guess, once this stuff is on the car, I'll have some parts for sale.

I've decided that my car is a girl, she's picky as hell, won't listen to me, always wants to fight me, and when i give her presents it's never good enough and she always wants more.

                  ummm...

the setup is for a rally car, you need a quick spool more than you need big power...

Big, modded, T3, with journal bearings, set up in the days when 34mm restrictor wasn't a class rule = too big, too laggy
Nice fancyass ballbearing GT28R (inconel hotside ftmfw) with that same restrictor= torque monster. I expect about the same lag as a vj20 with open intake and exhaust, but more boost and less intake heat. I may very well be crazy, owning 2 awd protege and rallying one, but I do know my ****.

Those fans were like 180 at Summit iirc.
As far as parts go, we'll get to that when they're actually off the car.

As soon as the manifold kit from jgsturbo.com arrives. I gave up on trying to find a gtr manifold, decided not to rip the one off the streetcar, so we're making a smallvolume log header for it. It dern well better show up this week, dammit!
