    Hey man, i'm loving your comment. Yes i dont think my intake valve is opening.....is there a problem with that? I've been running super rich lately that my fuel has mixed with my oil and the oil can become gummy, possibly getting my valve to not open properly, if not at all. My 4th cylinder had the same problem but it freed up so now my only problem is my 2nd cylinder. Are you trying to be funny and make me look stupid or something, or have you never heard of a stuck intake valve? Please let me know i am open to responses, u can never stop learning. []Deace

      Is it a stuck lifter?

      What size injectors are you running?

      Also, change that oil ASAP, if it mixes with fuel it doesn't lubricate well anymore. However, fuel should dilute it, not make it gummy.

        ^^time for AFC2 or some management, if u ont have one already. That thing does wonders on a BP... Ive witnessed it first hand...

        5 psi on a 8:0:0 Wiseco BP with 626 GT injectors , WEird Fuel curve once in at WOT.

        12psi on Wiseco 8:0 pistons + AFC2 + Injectors+3"exh....PERFECT!

          haha, yea i got an safc. I just got an automatic throttle body hooked up and all so i can tune better through the rpm range. Man i wish i knew what the problem was with the valve Lex. I can hope that its the lifter so i dont have to take the head off, or that it is just stuck. The injector is squirtin fuel for sure because i took it off attatched to the fuel rail and saw it. Its getting spark, plenty of it, but when i pull the spark plug wire out while the car is running it doesnt phase it one bit. Pulled off the valve cover and the spring is fine, timing is dead on also. The fuel isnt getting to the cylinder and i cant help but think its the valve being stuck because my 4th cylinder was out on tuesday and it was getting fuel and spark like this one, but no combustion and now the 4th cylinder works fine.......its weird. If you have any ideas let me know, im planning on using the sea foam engine cleaner this weekend and seeing if that does anything. Open to all suggestions, let me know. Peace

            I think u know the probelm than, just denying the inevitable...lol. pull that head off, and get the valves cleaned. I know u dont want too tho, i wouldnt. Try some Seafoam thats what its made for, to clean up gunk on the valves and valvetrain, and it works like magic. Jus tmight have to use that stuff periodically with your oil change since it happens so much since your runnin soo rich, and or fix the rich problem or Turn up the BOOST!!!

            BTW what injectors are u usin like lex said?

              i'm running 330cc mx-6 turbo injectors. I'm trying the seafoam this weekend if this hurricane doesnt come through. But if not i will take the head off. I'm getting 460cc injectors this weekend, but i'm running super rich on the 330's so i dont know. Man its gonna suck if i have to pull the head off,hahaha. Peace

                Here are the pictures of my setup, these are while i was still assembling everything. I will post more with my intercooler and piping, etc done probably sometime this week. Enjoy.

                  hmm...i saw no one worshipping hondas.....I have mad love for my Mazda's....but you know, Protege's arent exactly the fastest car made either. Stock for stock an RSX will walk over a protege anyday, in any form of racing. I used to be into hondas, had a few fast ones as well. They are boring. Vtec sucks my dick as well.

                  And yes a GSR integra will walk a DX as well. Im not trying to say that Hondas are the greatest thing ever, but when one takes his 17second stock Protege, and makes it beat a 20K new car that is worshipped like Budda (by the honda people of course) then it is a semi-big deal.

                      u should test it out with the NA injectors and tuen that safc up and see how it does with fuel..

                        I was going to but i have already spliced the injector harness for the rounded clips that the mx6 injectors require. I'll just lean the mixture out with the afc and vaf, just because i'd rather run rich and be safe with my EGT's rather than run the risk of running lean with the stock injectors. I'll keep you guys updated on what goes on with this thing, take it easy ppl. Peace
