That supra was probably running the Chevy tranny. I have read that a lot of the fast supra guys are running those trannies, b/c the factory 6spd sucks.... this is one guy's setup on a hotrod forum. Regardless of opinion, a "street" Supra is considered "slow" for the massive dyno numbers they make, not drag, chevy trannied hybrids, but actual "street" Supras. There is no need to argue with all of us, don't worry about, you don't own a Supra so don't concern yourself so much. Just be happy you got a cool MX-3
