I have a video of me racing an SRT-4, from a roll on the highway in my old protege sedan (which i think weighs more that his MX-3 if im not mistaken)
my mods were: VERY untunned GTX motor on 9lbs...and thats it (stock MAF, LX ecu,...No 02 sensor..and some vacuum leaks...lol). In the video (towards the end) i had to let off the gas because traffic was in front of us. I dont consider this a KILL or a loss because of traffic but as you can see the GTX did not dissapoint...(keep in mind he was the one with the HORN AND he started taking off on the 2nd Honk!..AND i had a passenger that weighed/camera man that weighed close to 300lbs,..AND i had all my tool sin the back!!!!)
ya, SRT-4's aren't that fast. They are fast for a stock car, but anything like our cars will eat one. I don't have trouble beleiving B-potents car at all. My MX-3 gets up and goes and I doubt I am pushing as muhc HP as he was.

haha, wow what an old thread and still the doubtful people.Yea srt-4's are not that fast, its just that amazing exhaust note that intimdates you. Cant wait to put on my new setup so i can post videos along with my kill stories. You guys should of seen what i did to a crx with a type r and a 50 shot. He was talking so much **** about my car trying to tell me i had the 88hp 1.6 sohc, so he went home looking at the "1.6 sohc" tail lights. Hey spen i'm going to lakeland to race if you want to meet up, too many cops here everywhere is a bust, lakeland i heard is the bomb. Lates
again also remember driver matters everyone thinks it doesnt in drag raceing but it does. a whole lot even from a role unless your not shifting. srt-4's fly if driven properly altho most people dont drive them right,. im not sure of the right way personally. but compared to any other cars in its class and price nothing else is close. and the possible easy power out of them is crazy.
mods: engine: fm stroker lightened and knifedged crank, 11:1, custom crank scraper, fully p&p head and intake mani, bored throttle body, flowed and matched stock injectors, rx7 vaf, apexi safc, gude race cams, modded ecu 8200 fuel cutoff, blaster coil, clutchmasters stage 3 clutch, fidanza fly wheel and timeing gears, msp diff, custom shortram in a cold air box
suspension: s/r struts intrack springs and intrax sway bars 15x6.5 rims kumho mx tires 205 50 r 15

When they have it floored and get a jump on you then you pass them how is that driver difference??
