I was merging onto the freeway (2 lane road that directly turns into a freeway)there was a white mid 90's eclipse and driving it was this girl, and as I was trying to get ahead of her she kept accelerating. I was like ok then dropped it into 4th (We were going around 45-50) and she kept going, so I put it in third and passed her at around 80mph then she tailgated me for a while. How annoying. I really need an RX-7 VAF so I could have owned her worse. Is it just me or are all girls that drive eclipses ricers?

well, i would agree with you on this, but my fiance drives a 1990 eagle talon (same as an eclipse) TSI, the turbo version. we were driving on the freeway and i went around her so i could pass her and a semi. she down shifted and toyed with me until i downshifted into 3rd and starting going for it. she shifted into 3rd and dusted my ass. easily got in front of me beforei could pass the semi. and, later on that trip, she was keeping right on my ass through the winding mountain pass. i kept trying to go fast on the straight aways and in the corners and she kept with me. i have my suspension almost all done up, and she was stock, so it was kinda sad.......

ya, pretty much just all girls with imports period. A coltbalt SS with a huge factory spoiler pulled up next to me, two really hot chicks, and I guess they thought the coltbalt was fast... too bad it couldn't beat a turbo'd MX-3

This is why i floor it around the twisties and enjoy watching others back off hardcore because either a) their car sucks in corners or b) they don't know how to drive it. Yesterday i had a moron in a Benz go flying past me right before this twisty i LOVE going 90+ around. Well figures he freaks out right before it and slows down hardcore to like 60 and i'm already stuck behind some other guy going slow in the slow lane (thats a given and okay) but if your gonna in the fast lane then don't wussy out! Then there was that porsche last week. Cut me off and floored it infront of me. Of course he pulled from me i didn't even try. But then we hit my other favorite turn on the highway. I pulled 100+ around it and left him behind and i know he could have walked me if he wasn't such a wussy!

PS: What do you have for suspension?

springs, shocks (probably gone), front rear strut tower bar, nice summer performance tires, upgraded sway bar bushings on the rear sway bar, and upgraded sway bar bushing end links for both front and rear, and a set of front and rear tie bars.

i not saying that she was faster then me, but she kept up with me in her stock (or at least i think it is....unless the owner before her modified it) eagle talon tsi. oh yeah, my fiance works on her own cars and does her own ****. so she might have done something to it, but i don't know about. plus she paints cars!! so i guess my girl isn't like other girls.....

My car can outhandle most fairly easily but since I have azenises on the front and crap tires on the back, I get really nasty snap oversteer that keeps me from going all out in corners.

haha I picked a great car to start drifting in didn't I? Drifting is kinda pointless IMO as it's a technique that is marginally useful in any kind of real racing.
