Hi everyone, I live in minnesota, and own a 92' escort gt w/221,000 miles on it. So as you can imagine, its time to freshen it up. I'd like to do gtx engine swap with a protege awd drivetrain. I know there is easier ways to go, but I like cars that are unique.

Welcome... Yea I was thinking about doing the AWD setup too in a Escort wagon but figured i'd do the build up first and make sure all the problem areas are corrected before moving to that step LOL

I jsut finished fixing the body and Painting the Engine bay and wheel wells...working on the suspension and brake system right now...Engine is next
