NEW and Question about Engine swap 02 protege

I have a blown wrist pin on my 2002 protege and plan on swaping out motors. I was looking for something with more power all around. Could I drop another engine in? Could I drop protegespeed engine? Also plan on doing some upgrading. Headers, Intake, Downpipe back Exhaust. ANY SUGGESTIONS?

mazdaspeed short block is the exact same as you already have. its just a turbo kit bolted up to it. there's no difference in internals.
