The threads/hiems are what worry me. i've been running high grade SS hiems on my rear swaybar endlinks.
Given a daily driver-- the forces seen by both physics & nature will wear them out ~ 1 years time.

If you look at the rest of my build, do you think I would ask AAC to make me a prototype set of links, without being fully part of the design discussion process?
It will be more than fine. You can't get new awesome parts without taking some risk, but you can get closer to a production quality in the prototype batch by planning over a long time with testing along the way.

considering you posted here that it was a "new product line" .....not just a prototype
I had zero knowledge you were behind any development of it. - you can't assume anyone would know differently.
To clarify-My posts weren't meant with disrespect or offense. I am however glad your on top of things! (especially new stuff)

Should be ok if it was balanced with the rotating assembly, wouldn't it?
Curious on what ratio you end up with as well! Any other changes done over the winter yet?-Jack

The Original had an equal drop from 1-2 and 2-3
Now The 2-3 will be more like a close ratio shift. I normally drive in 3. The drop to 2, there is a large gap in revs which with the new ratio, will make the car much more drivable and enjoyable with a little rev match to 2nd.
The new top speed for second gear has gone from 126Km/h to 140Km/h at 7K

I have over 15K on this motor and when I took the main caps off last night to "Inspect" there was NOTHING BUT MIRROR.
The engine does not fail because of the Pulley, It Fails because it Sucks.
The New Oil System (Remote Regulator) is going in to bring by idle pressure from 10 PSI to 20PSI and the overall pressure will be limited to 60PSI with a bypass.

So, No Shock. My AWR pan leaks out the welds.
(I was assured that Tony had fixed this problem, but he apparently could not figure out the most basic welding techinques.)
Seriously hard to believe that something that was $400 + dollars cant outperform the Hunk of crap OEM pan..
Pan Plan.
Media Blast Pan
Weld inside and outside (TONY!!!)
Machine mating surface (Because it is warped to **** TONY!!!!)
Coat pan with "Bluing" (used on assault riffles)
Media Blast windage tray
Install second AN10 Fitting for DOC B Oil Return
Machine both sides of windage tray true
Install windage tray and modified oil pump to engine block with Permitex "Right Stuff" gasket maker.
Install oil pan to windage tray with Cork Gasket

may i ask why your choice is a cork gasket? over persay just plain RTV? or did you mean some sort of corksport gasket?---Has ClubProtege helped you in someway? show your support by Contributing--- Click Here---

Makes sense to me, stuff is a pain to remove most of the time, usually need a wire wheel and a metal scrub brush to clean it all up. If there was a reliable oil pan gasket made for the BP I'd use it over a complete coating of RTV. It's the only reason I'm dreading swapping oil pans in the spring lol, it'll take a good 90-120mins to prep the engine for the new one.-Jack
