Noob with a GTX and festivaS

Hey all. I am a festivaholic since 1991. I've had 19. I've seen 8 festivas with over 500,000 miles. I saw one 2 weeks ago with 380,000 original miles. Original engine, trans, starter, alternator and... CLUTCH! I'm sure many here know the US release festiva is a mazda 121. We often throw the B6, B6T, BP, BP-T, BPT, B8 etc etc etc into our festivas. I'm here because I just picked up a 323 GTX basket case. I'm not sure what I'm doing with it yet other than dropping the B6T, turbo, intercooler, engine bay wiring in my DD festiva. The 130,000 original mile GTX would be a great candidate for a BPT as I'm leaving all the interior, body, and 4WD trans. All components are functional. It was torn down for a complete rebuild last year then the PO lost his job. He is another festiva nut and long time friend. I got the car and all the goodies last week. I put the alloys on ebay. Other than that I'm in limbo. I'm just posting to introduce myself and say maybe a FS post will follow once I make up my mind. Pics....

Don't have the funds or skills for either one. I'll be doing good to get the B6t in the festiva. I have another BP festiva that needs to be finished too.

I'm gathering parts for an AWD aspire again... had everything last year but I wrecked the aspire I was using and had to sell most of the parts... but i do still have the rear suspension from a miata that will work better for the festiva/aspire undercarriage.

it was a sad day indeed, but I have bounced back with the 94 I have now, everything is better this time around as far as performance and interior and exterior styling.

Man I move quick! I got it traded off already. That leaves me with a BP festiva, a B6T festiva, a partstiva, a 74 ranchero, a 98 nissan quest, a 92 Accord, and a 92 yamaha VMAX.

Awww...well I hope they fix up that GTX at least. Welcome to the forum. There is a huge amount of information over here. A very good group of guys/gals too.

Looks like a load of info for sure. The new owner will probably build it as a BPT. He is VERY talented.
