Hi everyone!
I live in Newfoundland & Labrador, Canada.
I'm currently completing a course in Instrumentation & Control Technician at College of the North Atlantic.
I found this forum while searching the internet about a problem with my Protege, and couldn't find anything, so I signed up here.
I drive a 2000 Protege, standard with a 1.6L engine. I just drive my car around town, back and forth to college and work, and out of town to see my girlfriend every now and then who lives 500kms away.
I bought the car with 170,000km on it about 8 months ago. It now has about 185,000km on it. I replaced a faulty O2 sensor when I bought it, and replaced the two back brake drums as well as did work on the passenger rocker panel which had a hole in it due to being parked next to a fish plant for about 5 years. Aside for that the car gets about 25mpg in town and 40mpg on the highway.
I'm a mileage fanatic; trying different ways of safely saving gas has been a hobby of mine for a while.
That's all I can think of for now!
Glad to be a part of the forum!
