Well.......got a 91 GT and am looking for information on building the 1.8 (N/A) for racing. Can't seem to find much info on Escort forums. Also seems that Mazda makes most of the parts I may need.
This is my first shot at building a 4 banger. I'll be running on an 3/8 mile asphalt oval AND figure 8. It is supposed to be a "stock" division but, after spending time in the pits with a friend, it's VERY clear there are few "stock" engines in there.....(97% are Honda's BTW). The more stock parts or Mazda/Ford parts I can use, avoiding "after markets" the better.
So, hit me up with what knowledge you have.
