[323 GTX] New guy from France

    Hello all

    I'm Greg, from France, I'm English/French ( helps a bit )

just got myself a 323 GTX ( 1.8T 4wd ) that isn't running for the moment, needs a little TLC

The engine was rebuilt in 2009 ( forged pistons, 1900cc, specific camshafts and remapped ECU ) but the guy that owned it before had a slight problem with the engine.

It stopped dead on the motorway, and never started after that.

so he opened it up, but engine isn't blocked, and no apparent damage

But he never got around to rebuild it

So i came along 3 years after, bought it off him, and started dealing with it

    Day she arrived at home

the engine as it was when I got it ...

In my basement / garage, waiting

Hope I'll find some nice info here, and share with you guys !

Welcome! Looking forward to seeing you breathe new life into her.
Before you criticize someone, first try walking a mile in their shoes. Because then you'll be a mile away, and you'll have their shoes...

                  You are right ^^

A set of D2 coilovers pro spec I think

( front camber and all 4 on uniballs )

Before changing the esthetics, I want to get the engine running

Do to that, I need to find some Oem camshafts and pulleys ( if anyone has that :p )

I've found a rollcage ( should be at home in February )

Need an Oem wiring loom ( car and engine ) just to get the car back into a reasonable state

                  Then I'll do the "tuning"

                      It's a "home-made" one that is bolt-in

                      But made by a pro

Will post up some pictures as parts come in and work is done

Wanted to go and drop off my cylinder head this morning, but a bit too much snow

So will try and go in Monday after work
